Home Buyers Don’t Care About Elevators

You read that right.  Today’s home buyers don’t want to purchase a home that contains an elevator.  According to the recent survey by the National Association of Home Builders, buyers also aren’t looking to purchase a home that contains just a shower stall in the master bath or a wet bar.



If you are considering putting your home up for sale, and you know that your home needs a little work before you list it, you should take note of this survey.  Today’s home buyers are looking for top of the line finishes as well as up to date floor plans and amenities.  Don’t spend your money on installing that amazing outdoor kitchen, opt for granite countertops throughout the indoor kitchen instead.  And, that remodeled master bathroom isn’t going to sell your home unless it contains a shower AND a bathtub.
